Sonia Raman, Owner

I started Sightline in 2012 because I’d watched too many homeowners in South Florida get a verbal price that ballooned once the crew was halfway through the job. That still makes me tired. My background is in commercial glazing specification - I spent years reading shop drawings for impact-rated assemblies before I ever ordered my first truck. These days I split my time between measuring jobs in Clewiston, reviewing every written quote before it leaves our office, and checking the photo records from completed installations against the scope documents. I keep a framing square on my desk that I inherited from a glazier in Miami who taught me that the measurement and the quote should never be two different conversations. When I’m not on a job site, I’m usually fishing the canals near Lake Okeechobee, badly.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been installing windows and doors in Hendry and Glades counties for fourteen years, and he still catches things other people miss - a subtle rake in a header, a sill pan that won’t drain the way the manufacturer drew it. He’s NAMI-certified for impact product installation and handles our PGT and CGI lines on jobs where the wind-load calculations matter, which in Clewiston means most of them. Dolores V., Senior Installer

Dolores came to us from a high-end custom home builder in Naples, where she specialized in geometric and architectural window installations - the kind of openings that make most crews nervous. She runs our custom and specialty window work, including the ES Windows and ECO Window Systems lines with their more complex glazing sequences. Her particular skill is retrofitting older Clewiston homes where the original openings weren’t built to modern standards, figuring out how to get a contemporary impact-rated unit into a frame that predates the current Florida Building Code by decades. Dolores speaks Spanish with our Spanish-speaking homeowners and prefers to explain the installation sequence in person rather than hand them a brochure. She has three rescue dogs and a vegetable garden that the afternoon sun has mostly defeated.

James K., Service Coordinator

James answers the phones and schedules the work, which sounds simple until you try doing it while a homeowner in Clewiston is describing a leaking sliding door and a contractor is waiting on a jamb extension measurement. He’s been with us since 2019 and knows every product line we carry well enough to spot when a competitor’s quote has specified the wrong performance grade for a given exposure. He grew up in LaBelle and still drives back for his mother’s cooking on Sundays. He will not disclose what she makes.

Elena joined us in 2023 after completing the construction technology program at Florida SouthWestern State College. She’s working through her NAMI installer certification under Marcus’s supervision and has already taken point on several standard replacement window jobs in the newer Clewiston subdivisions. Her eye for level and plumb is unusually good for someone early in their career, and she’s developed a particular competence with our CWS and Mr-Glass product lines. Elena documents every job with the photo record we require under Haven Clause 5, and she’s been known to take extra shots of details she wants to ask Marcus about later. She lives in Moore Haven and commutes across the county line every morning, usually with a large coffee and a podcast about true crime that the rest of us have asked her to stop describing at lunch.
